Spring Ahead with Flower Beauty

Now that spring is officially in bloom, I’d like to kick off the season with a peek at Flower Beauty’s limited edition Spring Ahead set.  This brand was created by  actress Drew Barrymore and it is clear that her personality has been incorporated into every detail. The products are packaged so beautifully – love the rose gold details and slim gold flowers on the cover of the eyeshadow palette.  Such nice touches!  This entire set is only $40, plus you can get 15% off as a first time customer at flowerbeauty.com.

A few standouts from the set…

Flower Eyeshadow Palette

Shimmer and Shade Eyeshadow palette in Warm Neutral – This palette has a blend of matte and shimmer shadows in rose, copper, and eggplant shades.  It is a beautiful staple for everyday and special occasions.  And even though I’m pretty much a one eyeshadow color girl, I can’t wait to try some of these colors on my brides!  I always find that I like to put makeup on other people more than myself.   Don’t forget to use an eyeshadow primer with these shades.  My favorite is Mac’s Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly.  You can get yours here

ZoomMascaraLength

ZoomMascaraVolume2

Zoom In Ultimate Mascara in Black – Super cool three-in-one mascara.  The mascara wand looks like a traditional lengthening mascara with a straight wand, but when you turn the dial at the end…voila…the mascara wand twists and becomes a volumnizing and curling mascara.  It was pretty natural looking for me, but I’m used to wearing more dramatic mascaras.   I like it for days when I need a little something, but don’t want to wear tons of makeup.

Flower Lipstick

RoseyGardenLips

Kiss Stick Velvet Lipcolor in Rosey Garden – By far my favorite part of this collection.  This lipstick is super creamy and the most beautiful pinky, rosy, almost red (but not quite) color.  It would look amazing with a blush colored dress.  I’m thinking that’s what I may wear it with in the near future!  I suggest putting a lipliner on underneath to keep the lipstick in place.  A great one that can be used with any lipstick shade is Urban Decay’s Glide on Lip Pencil in Ozone.  Get it here.

XOXO
